Meet The

American

Band

King Tree are, L to R : Ryan Simon (Drums), Steve Hatch (Vocals & Acosutic Guitar)  and Steve White (Bass Player).

We started in 2001, and played alot of shows, surprised alot of folks and had our up's & down's but mostly we've had a lot of good times. Our History starts to blend and get hazy but the one constant was Steve and Ryan, musicians came, musicians played and musicians left.We'll leave it at that.

Now after a two year break, we are back and signed up by Tree Records for global launch in the digital music scene, Our current, and best, line up is... Steve Hatch (voice & acoustic guitar), Ryan Simon (drums) and  Steve White (bass).

We are friends, we are family (were brother -in-laws) and we love music as much as we love to practice and write new songs, but there's nothing like playing 'live' and killing it. The Connection with the crowd whether they are our longtime fans or someone who has never seen us before. Now that's what we thrive on the most and 'live' is where we shine the brightest. Recording music and getting it out there is great, but the true satisfaction comes from getting out there and doing what we do best.

Steve (the burly, bearded Irish American with a guitar) primarily does the songwriting and brings the idea to the band and then we collaborate and put our own personal touchs on the songs. We don't believe in genre's and we sure as hell don't follow the cookie cutter trends.

We strive to be ourselves and to write music that we believe in, and in the end we hope to make that pure and emotional connection with you, and vice versa. We are regular guys, with wives and families (well except for the damn bass player ! Lol) but we're true to ourselves and our fans and we believe that simple is good and passion for music is the key, when it comes to songwriting and being the best we can be as performers.
