Meet Chris Adams
Chris Adams was signed up to Tree Records in June 2008 and had two of his past 'own releases' from 2003 and 2004, re-issued by Tree via CD Baby and some 17 Digital Delivery Sites like iTunes, Napster and Amazon mp3 and "Under The Northern Lights" followed in August 2008. Today Chris can be found on 57 Digital and Cellphone Sites and dominates Tree's Top 70 Singles and Top 10 Albums Sales Charts.

Chris Adams is a musician and song writer with a mainly guitar focused style and a great ability to attach emotion to his work.
Chris also plays the keyboards on his impressive Albums so he truly is a very gifted artist.
Chris kicked off his solo efforts in 1999, embarking upon an instrumental rock career. But by 2002, he had joined forces with John and Geoff Whitbread, described by Chris as “two brothers with phenomenal talent.” John’s vocal technique and Geoff’s drumming skills meshed marvelously with Chris’ guitar playing. These musicians, perfectly in sync with each other, found themselves moving in a more traditional “song-based” direction.
“I still write both instrumental and vocal pieces,” says Chris. His solo career is still going strong; he has three singers and a number of instrumentalists at his disposal for recording and for live shows. The music continues to be guitar-based with a focus on guitar virtuosity.
Chris’ previous albums include “Back To Jerusalem", “One Solitary Chair", “In Through The Soundhole", “On The Rock", “Streams From Bethel”, “Out Of The Silence”, “Variations On A Theme", “Requiem For A Mountain", “House Of Dreams", “So Far" and “Sozo” . Tree is started it's relationship with Chris by the digital releasing of "Sozo" and "So Far".
Chris has appeared on the main stage at the H3 festival three years in a row and several of his songs have achieved the much vaunted "Number 1" status on a number of web sites, including PeopleSound.com and Amazon.com.
Chris is the first International artist to be signed by Tree and is only the second British artist to record for the Label, Newton being the first but he was in New Zealand at the time whereas Chris is living in the UK.

"Night At The Oasis"
Currently Chris is producing his next Album and working on collaberations with America's Jim Carter and Sweden's Sam H. Called "Night At The Oasis" it will be Chris' 4th Full Album with Tree Records. It's due out in the UK Spring of 2010. He also issued "Dust In The Wind" in 2009.

Chris' fourth Album (5th release) for Tree is his best yet for a number of reasons. Firstly it marks a 'shift' in Chris's development as an artist and Genre. There is a well balanced mix of the quality guitar playing on both electric and acoustic guitars, the blending of "classical" guitar/works and modern rock but with a tilt towards the blues and even a track with Robotic programming, something never heard on Chris' Albums to date.
The something old and something new is true of this Album and you are going to be surprised at the developments, (in the nicest way). What adds to the power of this Album is his new Singer friends. Sweden's Sam H, America's Jim Carter and Randy Joe Galloway, along with his old friend John Whitbread. The mixes are potent and the finished products are impressive to say the least but we will let you be the judge of that.
The Album is now at iTunes, eMusic and Amazon mp3 Sites and will appear on some 50 Sites in total plus Cellphone Music delivery Companies by May.. "Night At The Oasis" is going to be one of those 'defining' Albums and will prove well worth waiting nearly 2 years for.
